More Nights Like These Please

callie is getting on me for not posting quickly enough. i find this very ironic because she posts way less than i do! oh well, i really am behind.

tuesday
i really really want more nights like these! filled with riding bikes with tracy and carolyn at dusk just enjoying nature. i felt like i was beginning to become one with nature. almost like that time i became one with the carpet, but not quite.

lets just say tracy should not put rollerblades on at the top of the driveway. she went completely flying! its a good thing the grass was there to catch her because she would not have been in very good shape if it wasnt!

the puppies decided to take a little swim in one of the golf course ponds. it kind of smelled....and not in a good way.

first of all, you must excuse my camera work in this video. it was a bit challenging for me to get the hang of videoing, riding a bike, and walking riley all at the same time.

it was like i was riding on my rainbow! when i say that i picture the rainbow track in mario kart (which i have always loved), but it really wasnt like that at all. mario kart isnt very serene. it is filled with bomb throwing, banana slipping and ghost eatings. this bike ride was not filled with those things, fortunately. instead, it was filled with my lotus flower! serenity! love! rainbow!

wednesdaypool time! i really hope i have a great tan by the time classes start again.

i wanted to be at the pool by 11. however, my body thought otherwise and i didnt even wake up until 1230! brig even got in bed with me and tried to talk to me and i was dead gone! i dont think we made it to the pool until 2. dont worry, i ate my french toast with strawberries and blueberries before heading out!

friday (and yes i am skipping thursday for now)
i went to concerts in the garden with one of the families that i nanny for. i must say, it brought me back to my childhood! we used to go every year and i just absolutely love it! it also made me realize how much i miss fort worth. i feel like there is always something exciting or relaxing to do. there is something that is just so relaxing and wonderful about sitting in a nice patch of grass in the botanical gardens listening to a symphony and watching fireworks. another realization i had was that i really miss concert band. nerdy, yes. but i just love love love my piccolo! it made me have a new goal which is to learn this piccolo solo that i have wanted to learn since senior year of high school. im kind of nervous to try though since i havent even touched my instrument in about three years.
this is the outfit that i really wanted to wear tonight. notice the chacos, tie dye and my hat! (goal outfit of the summer) and my favorite skirt of course! the reason why i say it is what i wanted to wear is because i ended up not wearing the hat for multiple reasons. 1. it was only going to be daylight for about two hours 2. i was afraid i would lose it in the dark 3. i didnt want something to happen to it such as malachi or leigha jumping on it or ripping it. you never know what kids are capable of! also, i know my pose is cheesy. i just needed a good way to show of my chacos ok! haha and who doesnt love cheese anyway! and speaking of cheese. my mom bought me the most awesome cheese ever! (i mean, it is me haha) it was cheddar (i think) and it was soaked in wine! it was like a whole wine and cheese party in my mouth all at one time! which is one of my favorite things! mmm mmmm! wine and cheese! something i really need to do when i get back to norman. on the to do list it goes!

love.
