currently craving: snow cones

it has been super hot outside lately to the point that i dont even want to go outside! the one thing that would change this is if i knew of a place to get a barbie snow cone! the best flavor ever! i would also like it to taste exactly like the barbie snow cone that can be found in purcell, ok. those small requests are pretty simple, right?

until then, i will just have to keep eating the milkshakes i have been making these past few days. maybe it will also help this month go by faster than it has been going. is it just me or does time seem to not be moving this month?!

currently craving: a calm sky

this looming tornado outbreak set to hit between 5 and 7pm today completely freaks me out. i am hoping it is not real even though it was real last year when they said something similar. at least i have learned from my mistakes last year and am more prepared this time! i am going to go ahead and anticipate survival.

currently craving: beautiful weather

i am not sure what it is about me, but the weather seems to hate me.  it has been absolutely horrible every time i have visited handsome in denver. i know denver is supposed to be a beautiful place and i would like it to show me its full potential! rain and clouds almost every day are not super fun. maybe the sun will grace me with its presence the next time i visit? i sure hope so!

i am currently craving a beautiful day filled with kite flying. preferably a kite that has a long tail with fabric bows tied down the length of it. i dont have a picture of one because it has been far too long since my last kite flying adventure, but i have been doodling a lot of them lately! i keep imagining how beautiful my kite would be and how fun it would be to run around in a field while holding on to the end of the kite string. i am going to make it one of my goals before it gets cold outside. that should give me plenty of time to achieve it!

currently craving: cheese ball and crackers

preferably the kind from central market that has roasted pears in it. yummy!!!! we had it for christmas and it was delicious! just passing the days away, one cheese craving at a time...

currently craving: dying easter eggs!

im currently in the mood to hard boil some eggs and make them all the pretty colors of the rainbow! my favorite thing to do is draw a picture on the shell with white crayon first. i think this year i may draw on all of them with the crayon before i dye any. it will make a pretty surprise when you drop each one into the colors!

currently craving: peeps!

thats right! its that time of year again. the time of the best holiday candy ever, peeps! i have yet to purchase a package, but i am super excited about it. the hardest part is deciding which color to buy! but dont worry, i may just make the decision much easier by getting every color available! i think the mint colored ones are probably still my favorite.

i know my love of peeps completely disturbs most people, but it doesnt bother me. just remember, if any of yall end up with some peeps that you cannot even bring yourself to eat because youre so disgusted, feel free to send them my way! they will be well loved and much appreciated :)

currently craving: michael jackson's thriller dance

why do i have this random craving? well, handsome and i went out in downtown denver (lodo maybe?) for my friends birthday. we were walking to the cowboy lounge to meet everyone when a car equipped with ghostbuster equipment on the roof and ghostbuster stickers on the side pulled up next to us at a light. right as the light turned green, they began blaring the thriller song and the girl in the passenger seat looked at us and did the most intense cat claws i have ever seen! it was random. it was weird. it was fun. and it made me miss doing thriller dance at opies as the entire oups. a part of me hopes i run into this vehicle again. i really wish i was fast enough to get a picture of it!

currently craving: spring

i enjoyed the beautiful weather so much the other weekend that i felt like i was going to freeze to death once the cold weather returned. i am craving, more than anything, the arrival of springtime. preferably a springtime that is filled with picnics, photos and reading outside.

currently craving: sugar, preferably in a pretty form

there arent many things better than cupcakes and coffee. especially when the weather is on the chilly side like it is today. and when it involves a lovely afternoon filled with relaxation at cuppies and joe with my sister.

i am excited to announce my new series called currently craving. my weekly lovelies series kind of fizzled out once things became busy and i can no longer afford making a macaroni recipe once a month. i am hoping i can actually keep up with this one since it does not take as much time or money. i plan on bringing back weekly lovelies in the upcoming weeks and hope to bring back monthly macaroni once i have an income. until then, i hope you enjoy the new addition!
