i just want to say how glad i am that megan was born around the same time as my grandmother or i would not have been able to experience such an amazing non-last time event!

my grandmothers 80th birthday! my grandmothers sister flew in as a surprise. im not sure when they last saw each other, but she almost fainted! i think she had a good time and i enjoyed seeing both of them this week!

i really should have put some sprinkles on the cake.....haha i have no idea why/how i even forgot such an important detail!!!!

words cannot even explain the celebration of megans birthday! well maybe amazingly amazing! haha im having a very hard time deciding what to post picture wise, so i think i may post two videos and maybe one picture? i guess i will decide as i go!

dinner was very fun, mom and dad arranged the tables for us and made sure everything would be just perfect for their children! i am a bit disappointed that we didnt take any pictures of us before heading to the restaurant since we all just sweated to death and destroyed all the work we did to look presentable haha!

petes....so much fun! im just going to write a few things since we were all there.

clearly, a very amazing and successful celebration! not just of megans birthday, but of our friendships! (i wasnt going to post this last video, but i just love brad and jessica in it that i couldnt refrain!)

well somehow i managed to not cry while saying goodbye today. megans mom almost got me started, but luckily i was able to hold back! however, the car ride home is a different story. yes friends, that means i cried. but i feel that it was a different kind of cry than i was expecting to have. it was more of a cry where i realized that everything i used to do with my friends on a regular basis will never happen again, or if they do it wont be the same because all my friends wont be with me. it seemed like every song that came on my ipod on the drive home reminded me of amazing times that i will no longer have. i dont mean that in the negative way that it sounds. it was just very bittersweet and made me realize what was really happening, or rather, how much things are really changing. im really thankful for all the amazing memories i have and all the amazing times i have had. i just cant wait to look back on things and hear songs and watch movies and have them remind me of happy times and not have sadness overwhelm me at the same time.
