sunday
(the one from over a week ago)
yes, this is what i ate for dinner. and i dont mean just a few dips. or a few chips. or you know, a normal amount that would be considered an appetizer of queso. i ate the whole thing! yes, the ENTIRE tub! its really addicting and i just couldnt help it! and im not lying...or even exaggerating...this is the full truth!
monday
(also from over a week ago)
so, i feel that the following picture needs a bit of a story to help explain iteself. when i chop onions, or am even around onions being chopped, my eyes water and burn intensely. i know, you are saying...so do everyones! but no, i really dont think mine is the same. it gets to the point where i cant see and seriously feel like my eyes are going to be burned out of my eyesockets. it really is extremely painful. one time my friend laura was making us brown sugar spaghetti (the only kind i will eat), and i had to leave three times during the chopping/simmering of the onions. i dont just mean leave the kitchen. i had to leave the entire apartment. i would just go outside and sit on the sidewalk with water pouring out of my eyes and attempt to open my eyes in order to ensure my eyesight was still intact. in order to avoid this problem when making such a delish dish myself, the following picture was my solution. i must say, laura should be proud! i didnt even have to leave once! im just very glad i found a solution to the problem.
the final product. mmm mmmm!!!!
tuesday
yes, this is paula abdul intensity....
and this is paula abdul skills....
i must say, for how much im not a fan of paula abdul, this workout video was super fun! me and brig have full intentions to rent this regularly in hopes that the dance will always be in our repertoire to perform at miscillaneous functions!
wednesday
so, you know that vase brig and i were planning on putting flowers in?...we finally got some! (and a light cover to replace the one that was broken at the classy christmas party, but thats a different story)
so many decisions!
they may not smell as good as fresh flowers, but they still look beautiful! and emily wont eat them!

thursday
sometimes i really hate how much i procrastinate. this is what my night consisted of... writing up opioid/apap combo product monographs for a pain book im helping put together for the childrens hospital. it really didnt take too much time, but i usually wait until close to the last minute and pretty much always underestimate the amount of time it will take me. its just not very enjoyable at the end when im like, that took me 2 more hours than i was anticipating.
friday
the family i nanny for who has the little twins gave me yummy veggies from their garden! a squash, cucumber, green bell pepper and a tomato! yum yum yum! i was extra excited because i was planning on going to the store for the sole reason to buy a cucumber, green bell pepper and tomato! oh the joys of living in a place that allows for a garden. i still have yet to eat the squash, but im very excited!
saturday
my friend baileys birthday! we ate dinner at the mont and then went to the piano bar in bricktown and had so much fun! i love dancing and singing!
this was her birthday present from the guys. thats right, their crotches humping the air.

i also saw harry potter with callie at the midnight show! it was my first midnight show to ever go to and it was very exciting! i loved the movie, but i also havent read the books so i am unable to compare them. if i had read the book though, i would understand that its impossible to make it exactly like the book and impossible to include everything. i know the book is probably/definitely much better, they always are, but i still really enjoyed the movie a lot! i would not be against seeing it again.
