we were blessed to have a beautiful white christmas this year! it was very pleasant because it was enough to be enjoyable to watch and make things feel very festive and was not a dangerous amount either. the picture i got was after it had melted a bit. i spent a lot of christmas eve watching the snow fall and my mom cook dinner. loved it!
we have a tradition where my mom hangs a pickle on the tree and whoever finds it first gets money. since i decided that i wanted the tree to only be silver/crystal this year, she was sneaky and covered it in foil! my sister did a good job and we found it at the exact same time! im usually the winner.
my first plate of the smorgasbord! i already cant wait for the swedish food next year! it seems to get better and better each year.tomorrow, well, in 1.5 hours so not actually tomorrow, i will be leaving for the airport to go to new york! i cant wait! so much fun awaits!
