Quarter Of A Century

brad and kelly are now 25! well, kelly will be later this week. i cant believe that it was two years ago that we made brad a seven years til 30 cake and that now, in less than a month and a half, it will be my seven years til 30! wow. time flies.

kelly came down for celebrations and we had so much fun! seriously. brad needs to find his camera cord. i think i took some amazing photos! and brad did too. im just clearly not a model.

i made two desserts for this celebration. oreo dots and pomegranate squares. both were very delish!

remember when i tried to make bite sized desserts back in august? well, i made them again. this time they were oreo dots and they came out much better! i feel like i could be proud displaying this batch.

i could have presented these in a better way, but i was enjoying eating too much.
after the game, brad, kelly and i went to eat the yummiest food ever at tarahumaras! we stuffed our faces soo much that kelly and i thought we were going to vomit for an extended amount of time and had to take a nap to try and "work it off". after our nap, brad woke us up at about 11:20, we were still so stuffed that we couldnt even bring ourselves to put even the tiniest cocktail into our stomachs before we ventured out to opies.

opies was a bit weird this time, but still lots of fun! we walked in and one of the bouncers kept asking us where everyone else was. i dont think any of us recognized him, but he sure recognized us! he seemed a bit disappointed that we only brought four people. after he pointed it out to us, we were a bit disappointed as well. but we made the best of it, and hit the dance floor! brad didnt even knock a drink all over someone this time! there was also no one on the disco side. it was us and this other guy who was dancing with himself. dancing robot type of dances like i have never seen before. we even missed thriller! the dj kept talking to us about it. we contemplated trying to get the rap side to play it, but for some reason decided against that idea. also, opie kept sticking his tongue out at me. i was very confused and unsure what he meant by that gesture. he didnt do it to anyone else.is it sad that everyone thought we were really drunk when in reality we hadnt had a drink since dinner and therefore were completely sober? i like to think that we are just fun.

love.
