oh gosh, i know i say this all the time, but i have had a seriously difficult time keeping up with blogging as of late. i have been writing my grand canyon day 3 post for two weeks. two weeks! and its still not even finished! this is completely absurd. i have had much more free time this month because my research rotation has not involved any projects or exams like the usual months do. instead, i have filled up my time with i have no idea. i finished my applications. i have been working out. i helped handsome pack for about a week. i helped him move this past weekend. i have been working on making a list of things we have to do before he moves for real. i have put off putting my christmas decorations away because i havent taken pictures of them yet. its almost february and the lights on my christmas tree are still glowing in the living room. maybe in march i will take care of things? i feel a bit spastic.
on a more exciting note, i have an interview at my second choice program on monday! im a bit nervous about it because i am going to be interviewed by different people for six hours straight. and if that isnt intimidating enough, i also have a clinical case exam i have to take for only 30 minutes before the interview marathon begins. i printed off a bunch of material to study in hopes that i will be able to recognize, treat, and monitor whatever disease state they will be throwing my way. i hope its asthma. or uti. i just have no idea what to expect. hopefully i will perform better than everyone else! i have to say this because i still have not heard back from my first choice. i still have not heard back from my first choice and am a bit worried at this point that this program will be my only interview. if only i could go back and push all my grades that fell only slightly to the b side of the a/b grade line to the a side! oh well, things happen. life goes on.
