Snow

two weekends ago (yes i am VERY behind, dont judge!) brad and i went to an "arctic party" at the 17301. i made super cute paper snowflakes and pinned them in my hair to try and be somewhat festive (if it was ideal i would have been a walrus). i also filled my purse with clearish iridescent sequins (also used on halloween) to throw around just for this occasion. there was even "snow" covering part of the living room floor. "snow" meaning that it wasnt real snow that melts when brought inside. it wasnt even the fake kind of paper snow that i was expecting it to be. it was something strange. so strange that i am not quite sure what it was. if you picked up a handful and squeezed it, it was cold like snow but wouldnt melt in your hand. it even had a sort of icy texture to it. lets just say, it was intriguing. brad even tasted it in an attempt to figure it out a bit more.

this "snow" was also extremely slippery. just like ice. one of my best dance moves was sliding all over it. and speaking of sliding all over it....at one point in time, after i had freshly filled my cup with punch of course, i slipped on the "snow" and threw my drink in my face! it felt just like glee! it was a very funny moment. i just wish that somehow it was on video so that i could watch it myself. it also made my hair very crunchy and gross feeling.

i was told that the "snow" actually did end up melting. but im not sure if that is true or not. perhaps it just got worked into the carpet really well from my awesome dance moves.

i was also told that my sparkles are still everywhere. they have even been found in areas i never went. successful! i also left a snowflake in tims bathroom as a little surprise gift to be found the next morning. haha
