Alice In Wonderland

i am extremely extremely excited about the tim burton alice in wonderland! i was browsing we heart it and came across this cute little guy and it made me even more excited!i have also been planning on being the caterpillar from alice in wonderland for halloween so it made me want to try and get some awesome ideas for my costume. unfortunately, nothing seemed to be very inspiring to me and i still have the same ideas in my mind that i started out with. not that it is a bad thing, i have just been having a hard time thinking more outside of the box for this endeavor.

however, there were a few things that i found that made me extraordinarily happy that i would love to share with you. i feel like these images inspired me, just not in the area of my costume. an exception to that would be this first image. its still a bit inspiring in the costume area as well.

everyone needs a bit of sparkle in their life.

i have been keeping my eyes open for beautiful and colorful bottles i could use as vases. i just wish i had somewhere to put them!

i love decorating.

for those of you who didnt know, i absolutely love balloons (although im not really enjoying the latex smell that is filling the halls of school this week because of rush week)! one of my dreams is to float away holding a bunch of them. and for this reason, brig told me i needed to see up. i did see it, and i must say, she was very right! it was filled with three of my all time favorite things for the entire movie! 1. floating away by balloons (beautifully colored ones). 2. the amazonian jungle 3. beautiful exotic birds (the one in the movie reminded me of a colorful version of the lesser florican)

if anyone wants to play with bubbles with me sometime, i have quite a few bottles/containers (whatever you want to call them) in my closet just waiting to be enjoyed!

i love each and every one of these things. my goal is to incorporate them into my life more. i think its very possible.

love.

  1. I just realized the thing at the bottom also says twilight. You freak.
When we saw up and all the balloons were released into the air it kind of took my breath away. It was the ultimate escape, and all the colors made me weep a little.

  3. I want you to know that I was at the market yesterday and this woman was selling the CUTEST art and the theme of everything was this little girl/boy who was floating away on a balloon! I almost bought some for my apartment but they were kind of expensive... I might go back though (she's there a lot, she said) but anyway, I thought of you :)
