A Note On The Rainbow

i have noticed how taking a picture everyday actually has made me enjoy every moment of everyday. even the little things in life have begun to brighten my spirits. i feel like i am beginning to rediscover myself and truly enjoy just being. new rainbow, here i come!

on kind of the same note since it is related to moving, i am loving how the apartment is coming together. brig and i have been putting in a good amount of effort to make it a soothing place to be. yesterday we bought some screen supplies to screen in the porch. i am really excited to be able to keep the doors open and allow fresh air to circulate throughout the apartment! brig also has some gorgeous candle holders that we would love to hang outside. i cant wait to hang them up along with some hanging baskets of beautiful flowers. there is something about sitting on a couch and looking outside to beautiful colors that makes the day brighter and more soothing. brig and i also made our way to the paint section of home depot while picking up the screen. so many amazing colors to choose from! brig and i have narrowed my room down to two colors, a deep purple and a more fuchsia color. we cant decide if the purple will be too dark or not. we may end up painting a small section just to make sure it isnt too dark for the space. dont worry, pictures will be posted once it is complete! i cant wait to live in a place that doesnt feel so temporary.

i love days like these when a snow cone fixes everything!
