you may remember that about a month ago i was very excited for callies visit. well, i finally got my film developed! once again, i am not sure what i have done to my camera. i really hope i didnt break it, but it does not seem to like being centered when on square format. i have no idea what to do. if you have any tips please let me know!
i know she was only here for less than 24 hours, but i thoroughly enjoyed every moment. her visit really helped perk me up and just what i needed and wanted. the sun even decided to come out and play with us! if it was warmer it would have been perfect. love you callie!
first we ate at tarahumaras. yummiest mexican food ever! i ate the hugest burrito ever and had to sit at the table for 30 minutes after finishing it just to be able to move. we then exchanged little gifts, including music of course, and then headed out to the library for their late night happy hour!
i was really excited because jessica was able to join us for a little bit even though she was not feeling her best that night.
below is the amazing pin callie gave me! i was soooo excited about it because it is the caterpillar from alice in wonderland! i could not have asked or even wished for a better one. and now i can be a member of the pin club! however, there is no way i will be exchanging this one!
in the background you can see the lotus flower candle holder callie got me for my birthday. i have three others like it and i was sad when it became winter because i felt that they were too spring looking with their very bright colors and had to pack them away. now i have one that can be out during autumn/winter! i love it! unfortunately it is already about time for me to switch them out again, but i am very excited to keep it on display throughout the future a/w seasons!
the next morning callie and i had an adventure of eating at pink elephant (of course!) and shopping around campus corner. we found lots of cute little things, but did not purchase anything. what is highest on my list right now are these super cute magnets that resemble older and more ornate picture frames and can be placed around a photo to give it a super cute frame and more decorative appearance.
the cake they served at pink elephant that day was absolutely delish! yum. yum. i think i will have to make a trip there soon because i havent paid it a visit since callie was here!
i am so glad i didnt have class until 3 so that we could have all these lovely adventures. everything felt the same, like callie had not been gone for six months. unfortunately, it was also the day the squirrel decided to pay me that lovely visit of his. dont worry, he has not yet decided to return!
come back and visit callie! and for longer next time!
