day 14

it has been so beautiful outside! i wish i could spend everyday outside amongst the trees laying in the grass and crunchy leaves. (no, this picture is not even close to being recent, but it reminds me of how much i have loved being outside lately)

day 13

these are the telescope pads out in the middle of nowhere when we went star gazing. i am really wanting to do this again. i really like watching the stars, but it is infinitely more amazing without any light pollution.

day 12

i love this photo because of my sister's very satisfied face. and the fact that we realized many months later that she looks almost exactly like our grandfather. it also reminds me of how we had the best french onion soup as a part of our dinner that night. i have been wishing as hard as possible that whenever i go back to pink elephant they will be serving it again. unfortunately, i have been disappointed every time since then and have had to settle with their also very delicious tomato basil. i just wish i could change it up every now and then and taste that delicious french onion soup in my mouth!

day 11

i cant quite put my finger on exactly what i like about this photo, but i do know that i love the lighting as well as the people involved and memories it holds. this particular night was filled with learning to play bocce and other fun adventures with friends i had not seen in months. who doesnt like exploring local pubs with friends?! it was perfect!

day 10

what i love about this photo: it captures brad's awkwardness perfectly. brad felt that the main subject of the photo is the swirl and that him and jess just happened to be in the background at the time it was taken. this honestly was not the case, but it sure does look like it was. regardless, i love brad and jess and swirls so i dont think it matters too much what the main subject matter is!

day 9

just some lovely holiday cupcakes topped with the cutest little mummies you ever did see! i saw those mummies hanging on the shelf at target and immediately threw them into my cart. (that sentence makes me picture that strange snickers commercial. if only i actually threw them into my cart just like that super tall woman!) it was worth it. i love them. i even saved a few to look at whenever i get a little urge for some mummy!

day 8

this was the tiniest reeses peanut butter cup i had ever seen in my entire life! its height was at least half if not one third the height of a regular miniature reeses cup. it was super cute, but for some reason i still discriminated against it and decided to eat a normal sized one instead.
